You can change your lobstr.io plan at any time from the Plans & Billing section of your dashboard. Upgrades take effect immediately, downgrades apply at the next billing cycle, and cancellations stop future charges while keeping your access until the end of the current period.

Upgrade or downgrade your plan

Open Plans & Billing

In the left-hand menu, click the Upgrade plan button located just below your credit usage counter. This opens the plan selection screen.

Select your new plan

Browse the available plans and click the one you want to switch to.

Confirm the change

Review the details and confirm. Your subscription updates immediately.
When you upgrade, the change takes effect right away — you don’t need to wait for your current billing cycle to end. lobstr.io refunds the unused portion of your current plan and starts a new billing cycle with your new plan from that day. For example, if you’re on a €50 plan that started January 1st and you upgrade to a €250 plan on January 15th:
  • You receive a refund of approximately €25 for the unused half of the €50 plan.
  • Your new billing cycle for the €250 plan runs from January 15th to February 15th.
When you downgrade, the change takes effect at the start of your next billing cycle. You keep your current plan’s credits and features until then.

Cancel your subscription

Go to Plans & Billing

In the left-hand menu, navigate to Plans & Billing.

Click Cancel subscription

Under your current plan details, click the Cancel subscription button.

Enter a cancellation reason

Provide a reason for cancelling, then confirm.
Cancelling stops future billing. You keep full access to your plan’s credits and features until the end of the billing period you’ve already paid for. For example, if your plan renews on the 3rd and you cancel on the 18th, your subscription stays active until the 3rd of the following month.
Unused credits do not roll over when you cancel. Any remaining credits expire at the end of your current billing cycle.

Pause your account

lobstr.io does not have a dedicated pause button, but you can achieve the same effect by downgrading to the free plan.

Downgrade to the free plan

Go to Plans & Billing, select the free plan, and confirm the change. The downgrade takes effect at the end of your current billing cycle.

Use lobstr.io on the free tier

You retain access to the free version of lobstr.io while you’re taking a break.

Upgrade when you're ready

When you want to resume, go back to Plans & Billing and select a paid plan. Your account and data will be right where you left it.
